Let It Ripple

Learning@home is an opportunity for students to be self-directed and to inquire into their interests and questions .

This page will provide students with a flexible framework, based on Kath Murdoch's inquiry cycle, as well as suggestions and resources for students and information for parents on how to support personal inquiries.

An inquiry may run for 4-8 weeks as students plan, investigate, create, share and evaluate their learning. For younger students the inquiry cycle may be much shorter.

Personal inquiries support the development of key skills (ATL) which will support future learning. It's important to focus on the process of learning rather than the product.

Thank you to ICS Primary Teachers for sharing resources and to educators around the world who have shared templates they have created.
