TOO EASY JUST RIGHT TOO HARD

  • There are too many pictures

  • It’s only a picture book

  • Not too many words

  • You can read it too fast

  • You can memorize it

  • The words are too simple

  • Font size is too big

  • You finish too fast

  • Not much to think about

  • The words are the right size

  • The book has to be interesting/ funny

  • Easy to read

  • I ask myself, can I understand it?

  • Something I am interested in - I like chapter books because they are more interesting
